I was knocking around YouTube and I found a couple of jewels. Joni Mitchell performing "Both Sides Now" and "California" on the Johnny Cash Show back in 1969.
My god, she looks so young... and she was older than me, so what am I now, lol? I grew up singing her songs, and hers were some of the first tough things I attempted to learn when I was playing the guitar. A great poetess. I've seen her twice in concert -- once in Chicago, once in Boston I think, on the commons. The one thing I remember is that she was cranky with the audience both times and they were 7 years apart. Great art = great temperament perhaps?
