The layoffs are coming at my workplace, probably next week. We don't know who will be let go, or how many. You can cut the apprehensive atmosphere with a knife.
Do you still have a job? I'm home for a while. my union is on strike and it is a remote possibility that we will all be fired. This is an intimation, (is that the right word? It sounds right), of what it will soon be like to be retired.

The original version of "I Scare Myself" was on "Striking It Rich" in 1972. And Sid Page playing the violin KILLS - absolutely is perfect on the song.
After zillions of listenings I still get chills during his solo.
If you get a chance take a look at what Page has done since that album - amazing.
Hicks and his Hot Licks, in the 70s, was just awesome.
I'm saying a little prayer that the cuts will pass you by!! Scary!
